February 2003
Coordination of Benefits (COB) was added in February 2003 to the U-M Prescription Drug Plan and applies only to members participating in the BCBSM/United of Omaha medical insurance plan. BCBSM/United plan members may submit prescription drug receipts for co-pays they paid under another prescription drug plan (i.e., VA hospital, Medicare, spouse's health plan) by using the AdvancePCS paper Secondary Coverage (PDF) reimbursement claim form and submitting the reimbursement to AdvancePCS. COB is paid at 80% reimbursement of the approved co-pays.
