2010 medical plan rate estimator

A new 2010 Medical Plan Rate Estimator allows users to view estimated monthly rates for University of Michigan medical plans in three simple steps:

Step 1: Choose your group. The benefits eligibility group based on job/career family is one factor in calculating individualized medical plan rates.

Step 2: Answer questions (if applicable). Depending on the group selected in Step 1, the user may need to answer some simple questions, such as date of hire, the number of hours worked per week, or annual salary.

Step 3: View rates. Based on the input in Step 1 and Step 2, the Medical Plan Rate Estimator will automatically calculate and display the estimated 2010 monthly medical plan rates for each of the U-M medical plans.

After viewing the rates the user can click “change” in Step 1 or in Step 2 to choose a different group or answer the questions differently to see if the rates change.

Once a new appointment has been entered into the system, faculty and staff may view their actual 2010 medical plan rates on Wolverine Access when they log in to Self Service > Benefits to make their benefits elections.

Faculty and staff can find individualized rates for their current appointments with the 2010 Medical Plan Rate Calculator.  A valid uniqname and UMICH (Kerberos) password are required to log in.
