2010 medical plan rate calculator

Beginning January 1, 2010, medical plan rates will be calculated based on three salary bands*, and rates for faculty and staff will only be available online.  Finding individualized rates is simple with the new Medical Plan Rate Calculator.  You will need to enter a valid uniqname and UMICH (Kerberos) password to login and see your exact monthly rates for 2010. 

Be sure to login to Self Service > Benefits on Wolverine Access during Open Enrollment to confirm your 2010 rates. The 2010 medical plan rates are individualized and calculated specifically for you when you log into the medical plan rate calculator. The rates displayed are based on current data. If you experience a job change that affects your medical plan rates before Open Enrollment, for example if you change from a full-time appointment to part time, your new 2010 rates will be displayed on Self Service > Benefits when you login during Open Enrollment. If you experience a job change that affects your rates after Open Enrollment, you will receive notice of the new 2010 rates.

* Salary banding for medical plan rates may not apply to those covered by a collective bargaining agreement.
