Announcements & Features: Mailing to U-M Premier Care and GradCare Members
Blue Cross Network (BCN) recently mailed new plan books to plan members. The accompanying cover letter indicates that the new book is due to “benefit changes.” We would like to assure everyone enrolled in UM Premier Care and GradCare that the change only refers to the increase in mental health and substance abuse visits that was announced during Open Enrollment last fall. Effective Jan. 1, 2009, all U-M health plans increased the number of outpatient mental health visits covered. U-M Premier Care, GradCare, HAP, Priority Health, and Community Blue PPO increased the number of visits from 25 to 30 per year.
